KLIKSELANK contains Selank, a heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) that is a synthetic analogue of tuftsin with a Pro-Gly-Pro sequence attached. Each pen contains 10mg/2ml. Developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, research suggests it may modulate the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), influence IL-6 expression, and interact with GABA-ergic systems. It has anxiolytic properties without sedative or addictive effects.
