Semax and Selank in neuropeptide research models

What enzyme, gene-expression and animal-learning studies can—and cannot—show.

Semax and Selank are synthetic regulatory peptides investigated in several mechanistic settings. Published work includes serum peptidase assays, gene-expression experiments and animal behavioural models.

For Semax, one rat study reported changes in BDNF expression across brain regions. Selank has been studied in conditioned-avoidance experiments in rats. Neither result should be rewritten as a guaranteed cognitive or mood benefit.

ADAMAX is listed separately as an Adamax (Semax analogue) product identity supplied by the owner. That identity does not make Semax study results directly applicable to Adamax.
